    Thinking of Taking a Trip.

    I want the solution

But I cannot take my eyes of the problem

    I want to be understood

    But I cannot understand.

    I want to shut-up

But when I listen I cannot hear.

    I want to sleep

But I am unable to find rest.

This maddening, muddled maze has got me mixed up in a quandry.

My baggage is unpacked and I am ready to do some laundry.

    But there is no soap.

The water has been shut off.

    I am dry, dry, dry...

Waiting for the opportunity to clean these clothes that belong to me.

Fuck it, I'll just get some threads to replace the old worn out re-treads.

    The luggage is nice though...

A little worn down from all the times I have travelled from town to town

In search of meaning, life, and something to fix up all my wounds...

But I always came back to you--

My only consistent place of ineptitude.

    When failure meets desire

    Destruction follows suit...

Leaving unpaid bills and uncleaned spills

This load is far to large to bear alone,

    I think I'll call a friend.

I know, I know... it's been a while; so, here it is: My Top Ten List of Random Things I Love.

1.) My hair, first thing in the morning.

2.) Being told I look like Lindsay Lohan.

3.) When my friends stick up for me.

    4.) Being sweaty.

    5.) Running into old friends

6.) Laughing WITH people (not at them.)

7.) Those looks that make you feel sexy.

    8.) Open windows, loud music.

9.) Being accompanied by an acoustic guitar as I sing my heart out.

    10.) Dancing

If you had to condense your life to one word, what would it be?

Wondrous God, a simple girl heard the angel's voice , and she responded with faithfulness and patience. She bore your love to the world. Help us to listen to heaven's call, as she did, with humility, purity, and openness of heart. Forgive us when we judge the humble in this world as weak, the pure as naive, and the openhearted as gullible. Strip away our pretensions to worldly wisdom. Urge us to listen to your call to us, and help us wait with faithfulness and patience for all you have planned for us to come to pass. Amen.

    VICES

I find it really comforting when someone confides in me, you know? Like when they tell me something UBER important: "I don't tell many people this, but I am an alcoholic... so, I don't drink anymore. I do smoke weed, though."

SERIOUSLY?? What is that? What does that mean?  I just don't understand it.

It's like saying, "I'm a nymphomaniac... so, I don't have sex with other people anymore. I do masterbate a lot, though."

I will NEVER understand people, humanity, and sin.

That's why it's not my job to judge; however, it is my job to learn to love. That is what I am doing, but sometimes it's hard.
